Posted November 07, 2018 10:29:16 This is the first in a series of posts that will take you through the steps of how to make a Halloween door handle, and how to decorate your home with it.
We have a lot of pictures here, but you can also find them on the How to Make a Halloween Door Handle and How to Decorate Your Home with a Halloween Tree.
I am going to assume that you have already got your woodworking skills under control, and that you are comfortable making your own decorative handles, hinges, door handles, and other decorative elements.
What you need to doFirst, you need a piece of wood to cut the pieces out of.
You can either buy a piece in a shop for $3, or you can cut your own from a piece you already have.
I would definitely go for the shop version, because you can get a wider range of materials, and a great price, but if you are a DIY type of person, you can find a much better deal in an online store.
You can use a drill to drill holes in the wood.
If you are looking for a woodworking class, it is also a good idea to start with a class that includes a hand saw, and you can make your own handles, which are great for hanging your decorations.
For a glass doors, you might want to buy a large piece of glass, and use a glass blade to make the handle, but I like to use a small piece of scrap wood to make my handle, which is easier to cut, and easier to work with.
This is the glass door handle I made, which was made with a 1/4″ thick plywood.
I cut it out using a 1″ piece of a large 1/2″ diameter plywood, and then used a 3/4-20 screwdriver to make two pieces of plywood for the handles, a small 3/8″ piece for the hinges, and two 1/8-18″ pieces for the door handles.
The glass handle was then glued to the wood with glue, and was then stapled together using some small piece screws to secure the door handle to the door frame.
Now, it would be great if you could have your woodwork completed in a few hours, but luckily it is much quicker to have a bit of fun.
So, if you can afford it, I think this would be a great option to try and get started on.
If you can’t afford it though, and are just starting out, then make sure to take a look at some of our other posts that can help you with the DIY project, or if you have any questions about this project, you may want to check out our DIY Woodworking 101 article.
